Who is Nathan Ellis ?

Nathan Ellis is an Aussie cricketer who was born on September 22, 1994. In August 2021, he played his first game for Australia against a team from another country. He was the first cricket player to get a hat-trick in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match.

Ellis was put on the Hobart Hurricanes team for the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy in September. On October 5, 2018, he played his first Twenty20 game for the Hobart Hurricanes in the Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy. He played his first game in List A for Tasmania in the 2019–20 Marsh One-Day Cup on September 23, 2019. He played his first game for Tasmania in the 2019–20 Sheffield Shield season on February 24, 2020.

Australia's Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Bangladesh in June 2021 included Ellis as a travelling reserve player. Riley Meredith's spot on Australia's full team was taken by Ellis before the tour.

Nathan Ellis played his first T20I for Australia on August 6, 2021, against Bangladesh.

Nathan Ellis got a hat-trick in the game, making him the first cricket player to do so in their first T20I match. After Brett Lee and Ashton Agar, he became the third Australian cricketer to get a hat-trick in a T20 International. Later that same month, Ellis was one of three players named to Australia's squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2021 in case of injury.

In February 2022, Ellis was bought at an auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament by the Punjab Kings.

Later that same month, Ellis was put on Australia's One Day International (ODI) squad for their tour of Pakistan. On March 29, 2022, he played his first ODI for Australia against Pakistan.
